Those living in South Bristol can now benefit from an online shop that has been launched for
businesses in BS3. Those in the community can order from several stores,
restaurants and cafés in the area through this platform.
The website has been introduced by Bedminster
BID and it features online shopping and delivery services from local
businesses. Customers can now purchase products such as food and drink,
groceries, toys and crafts and arts supplies. Some of the stores that can be
accessed on the platform are Five Acre Farm, Zero Green, Toyville, Upfest,
Trylla, Flip Deli, Kask, VX Bristol, Glass Designs and Gallery, Bristol Garden
Kitchen, Compuwave, Mon Pote and Independent Design Collective. More retailers
are expected to join in soon.
Bedminster BID advances that this new site, called WeAreBS3, will
provide a vital service to people during lockdown and beyond, with both click
and collect and local delivery available. He said, “We wanted to make it
easier for shoppers to shop online at our local stores”.
As for retailers, they advance that the new site is useful. Stacey Fordham
from the outlet Zero Green said that WeAreBS3 “enables us to process
orders and organise deliveries without the crippling cost of a commercial third
party service”.
