Grocery delivery: Imperfect Foods raises $72M

Imperfect Foods is a firm that specialises in eliminating food waste through grocery delivery. In an attempt to enhance its services, it has raised $72 million. This was possible thanks to a Series C funding led by Insight Partners. This money is going to be used to expand grocery delivery in the US and to increase its capacity in existing and new fulfilment centres. It will also invest in technology to better connect producers and farmers to customers. Philip Behn, the CEO of Imperfect Foods advanced, “We're energised by the continued support from investors as we eliminate food waste and build a better food system for everyone”.
