The high street giant Primark
is very popular among shoppers because of its inexpensive clothes. Indeed,
customers line up outside its huge shops across the country to purchase from
the brand. Now, it has some exciting announcement. It is going to open 25
sections in the UK that will not be dedicated to clothing items.
The chain has introduced Primark Home. These are sections in
its stores that will be selling homeware. For instance, there will be products
such as chairs, sideboards, shelving units, side tables, mirrors, rugs, wall art,
lights and shades. Some of these can already be bought inside a small section
in some outlets. However, now there will be larger areas dedicated to just home furnishing and décor at 25
branches.
According to Primark, this collection will allow customers
to make the most of interior design trends at pocket-friendly prices.
This decision follows a huge growth in their home and lifestyle department over
the past year as more people have been spending time at home.
Paul Baldwin, the retailer’s trading director said, “Delivering
extended ranges in newly created spaces within selected stores will help
establish Primark
as a growing destination not only for great home and lifestyle accessories at
amazing prices but also for larger statement and functional pieces to complete
a room”.
